How we choose
Every recommendation on Trusted Choice Guide goes through the same checks. We want you to be able to buy with confidence, and to know exactly why a store or product made our list.
The four criteria we score
1. Customer reviews
We look at independent review platforms such as Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau, as well as product reviews, and we pay attention to how a company responds to complaints.
2. Return and refund policy
We favor stores with at least a 30-day return window, clear refund rules and no hidden restocking fees. For digital products, we look for a money-back guarantee of 30 days or more.
3. Shipping and delivery
We check whether a store ships reliably within the United States, what it costs, and whether tracking is provided.
4. Price and value
The cheapest option is not always the best. We weigh price against quality, warranty and support.
What we leave out
- Stores with a pattern of unresolved complaints
- Products that make unrealistic health or income claims
- Sellers without a clear way to contact support
- Offers with hidden subscriptions or unclear billing
