Can I change existing text in the PDF?
Not directly – PDFs store text as fixed drawings. Cover the old text with a white-out box and type the new text on top.
Is a drawn signature legally valid?
It is a simple electronic signature. It is fine for many everyday documents, but contracts that require written form (e.g. terminations of employment) need a handwritten signature on paper.
