Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate slope in percent?
Divide the height difference by the horizontal length and multiply by 100. 3 cm over 2 m = 0.03 ÷ 2 × 100 = 1.5 %.
What is 2 % slope in cm per metre?
2 cm per metre of horizontal length.
How many degrees is 100 % slope?
45°. Percent and degrees are not proportional: 10 % ≈ 5.7°, 50 % ≈ 26.6°.
