  2. Fill in the vehicle data from the registration certificate (Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil I) and state known accident damage and defects honestly.
  3. Print the contract twice, sign both copies and hand over the car only after full payment.

Frequently asked questions

Can a private seller exclude the warranty?

Yes. In private sales the warranty for defects can be excluded. It does not cover defects the seller knew and concealed, or properties the seller expressly guaranteed in the contract.

What documents belong to the car?

Registration certificate part I and II, the latest inspection report (HU) and all keys. Service records help the price.

Who re-registers the car?

The buyer. Agree a short deadline in the contract and note the exact time of handover – from then on the buyer is responsible for fines and costs.

2. Kaufpreis

3. Gewährleistung
