Frequently asked questions
How much paint per m²?
Typical wall paint covers about 6–8 m² per litre per coat. With two coats, plan about 0.25–0.35 litres per m².
Do I need two coats?
For colour changes, fresh plaster or strong colours, yes. Refreshing the same light colour often needs only one coat with good paint.
Should I buy more paint than calculated?
Yes, about 10 % extra – and keep some for later touch-ups from the same batch.
