Vorabpauschale 2026
–

Stand 10/2026. § 18 InvStG: base yield = redemption price at the start of the year × 70 % of the base rate; the Vorabpauschale is the base yield minus distributions, at most the increase in value plus distributions; for units bought during the year it is reduced by 1/12 for each full month before the month of purchase. Base rate on 2 Jan 2026: 3.20 % (BMF). The amount counts as received on the first working day of 2027, so banks deduct the tax in early January 2027. Partial exemption § 20 InvStG; saver's allowance €1,000 / €2,000 (§ 20 para. 9 EStG); 25 % flat tax + 5.5 % Soli (+ church tax). For purchases during the year the purchase amount is used as an approximation of the value. The Vorabpauschale is credited when you sell – it is not an extra tax overall. Estimate, not tax advice.
