Is a simple power of attorney valid in Germany?
For everyday matters such as parcels or many authorities, a signed written power of attorney is usually enough. Banks, notaries and land registries often require their own forms or notarisation.
Is this a health care proxy (Vorsorgevollmacht)?
No. For a Vorsorgevollmacht use the official forms of the Federal Ministry of Justice.
